Overview

The Cactus Hotel and Apartments are found in Laganas, the largest and liveliest resort on the island of Zakynthos. The hotel has a great central location being just minutes’ walk from the beach and the shops, bars and restaurants and is comprised of several spacious studio apartments ideal for younger groups of guests. At the hotel and apartments you can find a large outdoor swimming pool great for relaxing in or by; during the day before you go out and for the quieter days, there is also a TV room and lounge with satellite TV and billiards. There is also occasional evening entertainment at the apartments such as barbeque events making for enjoyable evenings when you don’t feel like going out.

The apartments are located just a few minutes from one of the most popular beaches of the island, as well as, the large resort centre of Laganas, well known for being the best area on the island for its great nightlife with all its clubs, bars and restaurants. Alternatively, during the day near the beach activities await you such as boat trips and turtle spotting or for more fun for all the family why not visit Water Village, one of the largest water parks in Greece located just 4km from Zante town. There are free buses available near the hotel that can take you to other locations on the island such as the nearby beach of St Nickolaos if you wish to escape the crowds and enjoy the water sports or travel to nearby towns including the island’s capital for even more shopping and attractions.

Swimming pools

The hotel features a large and well-maintained outdoor swimming pool ideal for cooling off or soaking up the sun on the sunbeds and loungers provided on the hotel’s sun terrace.

Eating and drinking

There is a great pool bar and café located by the pool, which provides a selection of refreshing drinks and cocktails, as well as, snacks.

There are no self-catering facilities at the hotel however there is a well-stocked supermarket next to the hotel and plenty of restaurants can be found in Laganas.

Accommodation

At the Cactus Hotel and Apartments, there are a total of 28 studio apartments available that can comfortable accommodate up to 3 guests. Each studio features twin beds and a camping bed for a third person in the living area. Air conditioning is also available on request for a local fee and all rooms come with a TV, private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safety deposit box (local fee) and a balcony.
