Tsilivi’s mile-long beach backed by olive groves is by far the town’s most popular feature. Tsilivi Beach has fine pale sand and slopes gently into the clear Ionian Sea. The beach is ideal for swimming and families with children, due to the wonderfully shallow water. There are plenty of water sports available from the beach in Tsilivi including waterskiing, windsurfing and paragliding. Neighbouring Tragaki Beach is also excellent yet quieter and less developed. There are several more excellent sandy attractive beaches near Tsilivi that continue along the coast to the north including Ampoule, Machismos, Drossier, Paros and Amide beaches, all of which are well worth a visit.
