Family holidays
  • Book your hire car with child seats
  • Check children's passports are valid
  • Make sure holidays fall in school holidays or that you have permission to take them out of school or you could get in trouble!
Packing for children
  • High factor sun cream
  • Hats and parasols for shade from the sun
  • Toys to keep children occupied on the plane – avoid small parts and noisy toys!
  • Change of clothes and nappies for the journey
What to pack
  • Cuddly toys: for that home away from home feeling
  • Bottles, nappies, steralisers etc.

Top Tip!

A good tip is to pack nappies in the storage underneath buggies and pushchairs - they won't fall out when it is folded up and it doesn't take up precious room in your suitcase.

  • Remember to take a sweet or bottle to suck on for take-off and landings so it doesn't hurt little ears.
