- There are a number of areas within the park, including Bijrani, Jhirna and Dhikala, which is popular with tourists for its spectacular valley views.
- The number one way to explore the park is by safari. Travel a lot of ground and go by Jeep, or if you’re feeling really adventurous, take an unforgettable safari by elephant. The elephant rides take you into the jungle in search of wildlife. The safaris leave twice a day from Dhikala, and are a truly once in a lifetime experience.
- There are several guesthouses in the park for those wanting to spend longer exploring the park, with a maximum of 3 nights. There is a canteen providing travellers with a good local meal, and also offering gifts and books on sale. Camping facilities are also available.
- The park is open from September to June. March to June is the hottest season, and avoid it if you’re heat sensitive, as the mercury often soars to the mid 40Cs.
