- The National Park itself is home to all kinds of species, from exotic birds to tigers, leopards, jungle cats and more. The thick forestry of the wildlife sanctuary is also the natural environment of many animals native to India. Visitors can often see tigresses and their cubs among the dense undergrowth.
Why a Holiday to Ranthambore?
- As well as the Park, well-worth a visit is the impressive Ranthambore Fort, and the historic Jogi Mahal Fort.
- The beautiful Kachida Valley offers wonderful views and is a great place for a Jeep safari to explore the area without disturbing the wildlife population.
- It is useful to remember that Ranthambore National Park opens on the 1st October, through to the end of June. Visitors should also be aware that April and June are the hottest months to visit, with the temperature often soaring to around 40C.
