Nusa Dua is a resort that revolves around the sea. The hotels and resorts of the area are all based on the coast and some of the hotels have their own private stretches of beach.

• The largest beach in the area is Geger beach, which is slightly sheltered by the headland and because of the reef just out to sea the waters of the beach are slightly warmer than the beaches of the surrounding area.
• There are also opportunities for water sports on the beach. The beaches of the area are all connected by a long walkway which snakes up the coast; it is a beautiful place to stroll in the evenings.
• There are a few good quality restaurants in the resort, though the majority of restaurants are in the hotels. However if you fancy being adventurous then try the food at the five star Bumbu Bali restaurant that specialises in Balinese cuisine. There are also a number of restaurants which serve international cuisine as well as the local specialities.
