The Adriatic Sea is part of the Mediterranean Sea leading from the Ionian (in the south) along the east coast of Italy. The Adriatic also boarders Croatia and Slovenia.
Rimini is the most popular location on the Italian Adriatic Riviera, boasting some 20 km of sandy beaches, magnificent restaurants, chic and budget hotels, intriguing ancient architecture, huge variation of restaurants and party all night atmosphere. Within the ruins of Rimini’s Roman Amphitheatre classical events take place during the summer, and other sights that must be mentioned in Rimini are Tiberius Bridge, the Madonna Della Scala Church, the Malatesta Temple and Castel Sismondo (castle).
