The Grand Hotel Besson is well positioned in Sauza d’Oulx, just a three minute walk from the centre of the village and 250 metres from the Sportinia lift. Sauze d’Oulx is on a sunny west facing plateau in Italy’s Milky Way, one of the World's biggest ski circuits and host of the 2006 Winter Olympics. There is a great range of bars, restaurants, cafes and discos in Sauze d’Ouix including La Terrazze, which is adjacent to the Grand Hotel Besson, and is one of the best nightclubs in the Olympic Valley.

The Grand Hotel itself is a comfortable and welcoming property with 44 guestrooms, five of which are suites with hydromassge tubs. The hydromassage tubs in the suites are situated directly in front of the windows so you can enjoy the panoramic valley-views. Rooms are mainly finished in local wood and stone and nearly all of them have a balcony.

For guests convenience there is a ski room where you can store all your equipment and private parking if you are coming by car. The hotel restaurant is available for breakfast and dinner and there is a bar and terrace for that all important apres-ski. The biggest attraction of the Grand Hotel Besson has to be its wellness centre. Constructed in wood and stone, the centre has a warm cozy Alpine atmosphere and offers guests the chance to enjoy an outdoor hot water pool, a larger indoor salt water pool, a sauna, an ice cave, a well equipped gym, comprehensive face, body and massage treatments as well as an area dedicated to relaxation.

The resort is a popular choice with beginners because there are wide nursery slopes and a good ski school and also for intermediates and advanced skiers who can enjoy over 300 miles of great skiing around Sestriere, Sansicario, Cesana, Claviere and Montgenevre.

The Grand Hotel La Torre offers a unique and extraordinary view of the upper Susa Valley and is approximately 300 metres from the ski slopes which form part of the huge Milky Way (Via Lattea) skiing area. La Torre (the Tower) is visible from all over the mountain area and it enjoys sunshine right through the day, from dawn to sunset.

Originally built in 1937, the hotel still remains an elegant example or its architectural era and its distinguishing feature is the total lack of stairs. The 109 rooms overlook a "hollow cylinder" some 30 metres high. The hotel has been fully renovated and the areas that now house the restaurant, wine lounge, disco pub and wellness centre have all been enlarged.

After a long day on the slopes there is nothing better than coming back to the La Torre Hotel and relaxing in the wellness centre. Open daily between 9am and 7pm you will find a gym, sauna, massage facilities, various treatments and a pool with hydro-massage and fountains.

The hotel offers a childcare service, with qualified personal, for kids aged between 3 and 7.
