General
Planibel Residence Hotel offers its guests a modern, well-equipped fitness center, covered parking, and guaranteed round the clock reception service. Location
ATAHOTEL Planibel is located in La Thuile, the famous, enjoyable mountain community along the road that crosses the Piccolo San Bernardo pass connecting the Aosta Valley with France. The Resort can be easily reached from the northern Italian province capitals, such as Milan and Turin, and has excellent connections to all highways. La Thuile manages, together with the French La Rosière, one of the few ski areas that span two countries, making it one of the most important international ski areas. In addition to the natural beauty, the size of this area allows the best skiers to ski different slopes every day: the slopes face the Mount Blanc chain, 150 km of slopes on both sides and a single ski pass for the lifts.
Rooms
The apartments are divided in 5 independent blocks. Each apartment has its own entrance, use of the lift, underground car park, and panoramic balcony. A few of the apartments are also enhanced an attic loft. The Monte Bianco Superior block faces the Piazzetta and is closest to the ski slopes. The 237 apartments are elegantly furnished in the typical style of the Aosta Valley. Modern, functional, carefully decorated, and completely renovated, the apartments of the Residence offer an ample selection of lodging types that suit all needs, all for perfect comfort and pleasure.
Restaurant
La Raclette: is a restaurant-pizzeria located in the center of the ATAHOTEL Planibel square. A happy, pleasant atmosphere welcomes restaurant guests, who will be able to enjoy a wide range of traditional dishes from the cuisine of the Aosta Valley, as well as pizza. King Pub: is the newest locale at Planibel, located in the underground floor of the complex. This is an engaging, pleasant music pub, steak grill, and pizzeria with a young atmosphere, fun and informal, dedicated to guests who want to have fun late into the night while sipping cocktails or snacking on a gastronomic specialty.
Courmayeur at a Glance
Courmayeur can be found on the Italian side of Mont Blanc, or Monte Bianco, as they say in Italy, in the European Alps. It is nestled in the Aosta Valley in the north of Italy and is the highest town in the country. The mountain scenery is stunning all year round.
