Overview

The Grand Hotel La Torre offers a unique and extraordinary view of the upper Susa Valley and is approximately 300 metres from the ski slopes which form part of the huge Milky Way (Via Lattea) skiing area. La Torre (the Tower) is visible from all over the mountain area and it enjoys sunshine right through the day, from dawn to sunset.

Originally built in 1937, the hotel still remains an elegant example or its architectural era and its distinguishing feature is the total lack of stairs. The 109 rooms overlook a "hollow cylinder" some 30 metres high. The hotel has been fully renovated and the areas that now house the restaurant, wine lounge, disco pub and wellness centre have all been enlarged.

After a long day on the slopes there is nothing better than coming back to the La Torre Hotel and relaxing in the wellness centre. Open daily between 9am and 7pm you will find a gym, sauna, massage facilities, various treatments and a pool with hydro-massage and fountains.

The hotel offers a childcare service, with qualified personal, for kids aged between 3 and 7. Guests will also find a TV room showing Sky Sports and there is a ski locker room so you can safely store all your equipment. If you are coming by car both indoor and outdoor parking is available (with extra charge).

The restaurant is spacious and welcoming, with a panoramic view of the Alpine peaks encircling the valley. Guests can enjoy the fusion between the magnificence of the mountains and the delicious food, with a special emphasis on Italian cuisine. The wine cellar contains a selection of about 200 labels and the hotels wine waiters will happily offer advice for the right grape variety to match your meal. If you just want to sit and relax with a drink, the hotel has a bar.
