Could anyone go to Pisa without visiting the Leaning Tower? In front of Pisa Cathedral is the spectacular round based Baptistery, a monument rising 55 metres, topped by a dome but behind it is one of the world’s most intriguing buildings; the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Between The Tower and Piazza dell Arcivescovado in Pisa, is the Cathedral Vestry Board museum where many marvel at such treasures as The Madonnas by Giovanni Pisano, the wooden crucifix by Borgognone and sculputures by Tino di Camaino and Tommaso Pisano.
