More about Cefalu
The main sandy beach in Cefalu is Lungomare Beach which is divided up in the summer months into public and private sections. Sunbeds and umbrellas may be hired, and this long sandy beach is ideal for families with children (some of the sections are only accessible via stairways though).
Sandy Salinelle Beach is about 7 km from Cefalu heading towards Palermo, and there are a number of bars and restaurants for lunchtime refreshments; note that the beach shelves steeply into the sea.
