Located at about 750 metres above sea level, Erice is a charming town, with characteristic streets and boasting panoramic views over the city of nearby Trapani. With its own historic attractions, and proximity to the coast, it makes for a perfect summer holiday.

  • The old town of Erice is a great place to spend a lazy afternoon walking around the medieval alleyways, and having lunch at one of the cafes. In the south west of the town, the Villa Balio gardens are an attractive sight.
  • Spend the afternoon taking in some culture. Erice has a remarkable number of churches, many of which are interesting to visit. Two of Erice’s most famous landmarks, Pepoli Castle and Venus Castle have great fortifications, and stunning views. Combined tour tickets are available to purchase.
