On the western coast of Sicily on a low lying peninsula is the city of Trapani, the gateway to the Egadi Islands. There are many areas where cars cannot drive in Trapani so exploring the city is comfortable by foot. Explore Via Torrearsa and Via Garibaldi where you will discover many palaces and churches.

Trapani has many lidos on the sandy northern shore which can be easily walked to from the city. At the Trapani Lidos there are sunbeds to hire, bars and cafes as well as children’s entertainment.
