On the western coast of Sicily on a low lying peninsula is the city of Trapani, the gateway to the Egadi Islands. Trapani has many lidos on the sandy northern shore which can be easily walked to from the city. At the Trapani Lidos there are sunbeds to hire, bars and cafes as well as children’s entertainment. San Giuliano is a golden sandy beach not far from Trapani and there are also lidos at Torre Ligny in the Centro Storico.
