• Calenzano is an old town with buildings to match and the Pieve di Santa Maria is one that truly represents the town’s age. Built before the Mille, this Catholic Church has since been restored. Unfortunately with the demolition of the original alters and chapel the badges and licenses of the church’s ancient patrons were also destroyed. However, inside the Madonna with St Thomas can still be found.
