A few kilometres from the city you'll find the amazing Marmore Waterfalls (Cascata delle Marmore), which is considered the most beautiful waterfall in Europe and also the Lake Piediluco, considered one of the most fascinating lakes in Central Italy. The area around Marmore Waterfall is a great location for nature study, hiking, fly-fishing, and white water rafting.
Those who want to plan a vacation in Terni for fun cannot miss in May the famous festival Cantamaggio, which celebrates the return of spring, with events such as parades, performances and exhibitions.
