Todi is a picturesque town surrounded by medieval, Roman and Etruscan walls. Although it's a hill town, the centre at the top of the hill is flat. It is an interesting town full of art and narrow winding streets. It overlooks the Tiber river valley.

In July, the Todi Art Festival has art and drama exhibits, opera, classical music and other music performances. Also in July is the Gran Premio Internazionale Mongolfieristico, an international ballooning competition with hot air balloons from Europe and the US. Carnevalandia is a big carnival festival usually held in February.
There are many things to do and see on your holiday in Todi, including the Piazza del Popolo, (people's square), on the square you'll find the Cathedral, Palazzo del Popolo (one of Italy's oldest buildings). The Duomo, which was built over a Roman temple. Beyond the Duomo, near the Convento delle Lucrezia, is a great spot for views. You'll also see remains of Roman and pre-Roman walls here. There are many other Churches, ruins and buildings to visit, all vast in great history.
