The hotel takes its name from the famous Venetian artist who once lived here, Antonio Canal, who was also known as Canaletto. The property is furnished in a typical 18th century Venetian style, with stuccowork, damask, hand lacquered and gilded furniture, Murano glass mirrors and lamps.
