Dating back to the 14th century, the Doge's Palazzo was originally a commercial and residential palace, which has now been constructed. Guests are able to bring goods into the inner courtyard by boat, where they can be validated and sold. This hotel comprises a total of 233 rooms spread over 5 floors. The lobby counts as one of the most magnificent hotel lobbies in the whole of Europe, which has been maintained in a Gothic Venetian style and is impressive in way of its splendorous marble features, the outside staircase and the gazebo.
