  • The area is ripe with natural hot springs and has more than a dozen on offer. Some of the finest include Miyanoshita which can be found in a dense woodland area in the valley, with outdoor baths and beautiful scenery and the Tenzan bath house which offers a collection of pretty outdoor hot springs and is built within a traditional Japanese style building. Many of the hotels offer hot springs too - which are often free to use for guests - Yumoto Fujiya Hotel and Hotel Kowakien Yunessun are two of those.
