The quiet town of Attard is the perfect place for a peaceful retreat in Malta.

The town is located halfway between the historic town of Mdina and Malta’s capital city Valetta. This location meant Attard was an important communications point between Malta’s important towns.

In the early 20th century many rich families built their homes in Attard and you will find plenty of beautiful villas and pretty gardens to explore in the area.

Attard is not the place to go if you want a lively nightlife or all the facilities you’d find at major resorts. Instead Attard holidays offer you a slice of Maltese life that has not been touched by urbanisation or growing tourism developments. In Attard you’ll find open spaces, leafy streets and a friendly, peaceful atmosphere.

Given Malta’s small size, when you do want to explore the other busier areas of Malta, Attard is within easy reach of Valetta, Mdina and the beaches at St Julian’s and Sliema.
