The Panorama Hotel overlooks Mellieha Bay at the northern end of the island of Malta. As its name suggests, the hotel has excellent views. Mellieha Bay is quiet and relatively under-developed, with a number of shops, bars and restaurants spread out along the bay. Mellieha Bay also has one of Malta`s few sandy beaches and it is also the longest in Malta.

The Panorama Hotel is 300 metres from the centre of town and less than a mile from the beach. There are regular buses to other Malteses towns and villages and also to the beach. The hotel is not suitable for those with walking difficulties due to its location but will appeal for a family holiday in Malta as Mellieha is an attractive village and the bay has shallow water which is perfect for young children.
