Following a recent refurbishment, Malta’s Topaz Hotel is a stylish and comfortable place to holiday in Bugibba. A ten minute walk will take guests to the sea front promenade, shops, bars, restaurants and nightlife in the centre of Bugibba and most of Malta’s major towns are just a few miles away.

All 258 of the Topaz Hotel’s guest rooms are beautifully decorated and fully furnished, most have a balcony and great views. The hotel has a wide variety of sport and leisure facilities including a large swimming pool and sun terrace, an indoor pool (from November to June), a sauna, a Jacuzzi and a games room for children.

Varied dining facilities are available from the Table d’Hote menu in the main restaurant to the snacks at the poolside bar or, if you’re feeling homesick, why not enjoy a beer in The Royal Oak, a traditional English style pub.

Buses stop close to the hotel for day trips to Valletta or a small passenger ferry trip may be taken to the city.

In the main hotel building on the water front are the hotel bedrooms, the swimming pools, fitness room, bars, restaurants, games room and reception; however the studios are located in an annex about 100 metres away, with the apartments in another annex about 300 metres away. Guests staying in the studios and apartments may use the Bayview Hotel’s facilities.

The Mavina Holiday Complex is in a good location close to the centre of the Qawra/Bugibba resort area. Bugibba sea front is packed with a variety of kiosks, cafes and water sport activities and there is a sandy beach just a short stroll from the hotel. After dark there are plenty of waterside restaurants and lively music bars.

Split into two blocks, the Mavina Holiday Complex offers studio, one and two bedroom apartments. The smaller block, with no lift, includes larger one and two bedroom apartments that sleep up to 6 people. Apartment’s have an en-suite bathroom, a kitchenette, a living area and a balcony or terrace. Amenities onsite for guests include a swimming pool with a surrounding sun terrace, a restaurant, bar and pizzeria.

Malta’s main nightlife area, St Julian’s, is a 30 minute bus ride away and there is a bus stop close to the hotel making it easy to explore. Free public parking is also available right outside the complex.
