Directions

Public transport is availabe from the Gudja Airport. The bus stop is

just outside the airport lounge. From there the bus will take tourists

to Valletta, from where they take bus nos 62 or 64 or 66 which will stop

them at a stage , on request, which is just 100 metres away from the

Astra Hotel. Transport to other part of the island is available from the

same stage to go north of the island and accross the road transport will

go the other side of the island.

Astra Hotel is situated in Sliema, a main tourist attraction. Situated

on the seafront, with panoramic views, the hotel is on a main bus route

to the nearby Capital City, Valletta, and to all other major tourist

sites and beaches on the island.

The accommodation, at the hotel Astra, comprises 36 rooms, each having a

bathroom, and being equipped with a direct dial telephone. 16 rooms have

self catering facilities. The hotel Astra offers hair dryer, room

service and clothing iron on request. In four rooms the air conditioning

is available.
