The main restaurant is the La Valette Buffet. The Can Thai caters for all your chinese and Thai food and the Ristorante Tigne serves great Italian food. Finally there is Il Giardino a fantastic pizzaria.
Sa Ra Ge Ma Restaurant is also close by and while it is not part of the hotels dining system, patrons of the hotel can enjoy 15% off their food here.
The Garden bar is indoor looking out over the gardens. The Cocktail bar located close to the lido is a venue for evening entertainment. The lido bar looks out over the harbour at sea level (open summer only).

Situated near to the beautiful waterfront of Sliema,overlooking the capital city's majestic bastion walls of Valletta, the Fortina hotel is all about relaxation. The town of Sliema is quiet and picturesque - in total contrast to Malta's lively resort of Bugibba. While Hotel Fortina is set next to the coast, amongst other hotels, the resort of Sliema is traditionally very residential and commerical and not focused on toursim - so provides a great opportunity explore the local cultures of this Maltese holiday resort.
A great place to start your exploration is the 3 mile long Tower Road promenade. Tower Road houses a variety of shops, restaurants and cafes. You can also find fundamentals, such as banks and supermarkets. Following the road north from the Fortina hotel you can reach the resort of St Julian's. The walk along the Tower Road promenade is a treat for joggers, walkers and those that just want to see some amazing sights.
As the Hotel Fortina puts you so close to the sea, it would be a shame not to explore it. The Oxygène Dive centre is located at Planet Court, just 50 metres from the Fortina entrance.
