Presidente Intercontinental Villa Mercedes Merida

Merida (Merida Yucatan), Central Mexico

Overview

Once a stately mansion bought by a Mexican general for his fiancé, the InterContinental Presidente Merida was later converted and renovated in 2005 to a spacious and stylish hotel, with over 120 rooms over 5 floors while; ensuring that its original Art Nouveau features remained. With facilities including a restaurant, bar, swimming pool and fitness centre to help keep guests relaxed and comfortable.

Situated just 100 meters from the nearby historic town of Paseo de Montejo and with popular attractions and sights such as the Yucatán Siglo XXI Convention Centre and the ancient Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, just a drive way, this makes for an ideal spot to stay while you visit.

Mexico offers stunning beaches, warm clear waters, bustling cities, tropical jungles and desert landscapes to see. Why not do a spot of sight seeing, try some water sports, book and exploration, try some golf or tennis or hop on a boat. When nighttime falls, head to a local restaurant sample some of the traditional Mexican food, listen to some jazz or salsa the night away.
