Swimming pools

The hotel has two gorgeous, free-form pools, the more active pool is located near the beach and plays host to different activities to appeal to all ages including scuba lessons. The Trade Winds Beach Bar, Gaviotas International Cuisine Restaurant and Bar and the Health and Sushi Snack Bar flank this popular pool area. The other pool is located on the lagoon side of the hotel, near the Lobby Bar and offers a Jacuzzi on the nearby deck. Both pools are surrounded by expansive sundecks with comfortable lounge chairs so you can relax and soak up the Caribbean sunshine. The pool also has superb in-water loungers.

Eating and drinking

The hotel has a total of 6 restaurants and 8 bars including Gaviotas, the casual beachfront restaurant and bar with buffet and show cooking for breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring pasta, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Albatros is a casually elegant restaurant located right above the pool area, combining buffets, a la carte and show cooking and the new Health, Sushi and Snack bar is located beside the pool, overlooking the ocean providing innovative light fare with Japanese influences, a great variety of mouth-watering refreshing non- alcoholic beverages and a wide range of exotic juices with Caribbean accents. Maria`s however offers refined, innovative and contemporary Mexican cooking in an aristocratic and historical atmosphere. The menu is both a la carte and show cooking. Bars at the resort include the beachfront Trade Winds serving snacks with a Mexican touch, refreshing beverages and exotic Caribbean specialty drinks. There is also a Lobby Bar and two 24 hour All-Inclusive Clubs where you can enjoy 24 hour self-service snacks, an international open bar, games and activities and finally a Show Bar, outside the theatre offering a large variety of popular cocktails, soft drinks and prime beers. All-Inclusive guests enjoy three full meals a day plus snacks any time at the beach bars, lounges and 24 Hour All-Inclusive Club plus unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
