Do spend time on Aourir Beach in Agadir as this beach reaches for an amazing 17 km and is where you can watch the most beautiful sunsets. A favourite with surfers is Tifnit Beach in the Agadir area; a peaceful spot even at the weekends.

Explore Morocco

High in the Atlas Mountains about 60 km from Agadir at an altitude of 3,600 feet is the Moroccan village of Imouzzer where walks will take you through the olive groves to the most spectacular waterfalls – a must see when on holiday in Morocco.

Essaouira is the next major seaside resort heading north along the Atlantic coast from Agadir. This historic city has a UNESCO medina, a thousand facets with fortifications and a stunning coastline.

Take a trip to the Souss Massa National Park about 60 km north of Agadir, set between the desert and the coast at the mouth of two rivers: Souss and Massa. Especially fabulous as the birds migrate, wander through the lagoons and bring your binoculars to watch the flamingos, ospreys, storks and cranes.
