Located close to the airport in an industrial site, this hotel is close to major highways making the rest of Holland easily accessible. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the airport where there are direct train links every 10 minutes to Central Station - the fast train takes 12 minutes and the slow train takes 20 minutes.

Rooms

As with most Radisson hotels, there are themes to the hotel bedrooms but no matter what the theme, all the rooms are in very good condition. They are quite business orientated and are all medium sized with decor and standards and facilities expected of a five star hotel. The bathrooms are also very modern and in very good condition.

Restaurant

This is located on the lower ground floor but has a lot of natural daylight due to its floor to ceiling windows. All meals are served here and the menu is International. Light snacks are also available at the bar.

This is a very modern, purpose built hotel.

Lobby

The lobby is large and very modern with ample seating on Italian furniture, paintings on the walls and a large flower display. It is very bright and quite minimalistic. The reception area is split into various counters and the reception desks are wooden. There is a souvenir and flower shop in the lobby, also, and the large bar is located off the lobby. This has a large amount of seating and is a lot warmer than the lobby with its darker decor.

The Netherland’s main airport is Amsterdam Airport Schiphol situated about 18 km southwest of Amsterdam city, with a road journey time of about 20 minutes to downtown Amsterdam.

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is a huge airport with five main runways but just one large terminal building with three large departure halls and an area named Terminal 4.

The Nederlandse Spoorwegen train operator has a station below the passenger terminal with local and high speed trains not only running directly into Amsterdam City but also to Antwerp and Brussels and Paris.

There are a number of bus services running between Amsterdam and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The Schiphol Sternet network runs regularly throughout the city with journey times generally no longer than 30 minutes and the buses going straight to Schiphol Plaza in front of the Arrival and Departure Halls. The Zuidtangent is an express bus service from Amsterdam and the surrounding area into Schiphol Airport with more luxurious seating, and the company using the special bus lanes which means that travel in the rush hour is possible. Interliner is the 3rd service which is also provides a rapid connection between the city and Schiphol Airport.
