Motueka at a Glance
The town of Motueka on the western shore of Tasman bay and 27km northwest of Nelson makes an excellent base for exploring the region of Nelson and its national parks. Motueka is located in an area where fruit, hops and green tea grow in abundance. Kiwi fruit, apples and grapes are harvested between March and June, making it a delicious time to go on a holiday to Motueka.
