- Over 14s only are allowed at Lost Spring, a jungle themed hot pool experience and day spa. If you’re feeling more energetic then go horse riding through farmland and bush at Twin Oaks Riding Ranch, or spend an afternoon discovering the local history at Mercury Bay Museum.
- There are numerous upmarket restaurants to choose from in Whitianga and around its attractive harbour.
