Overview
Perfectly integrated into the surroundings, this beach hotel is an exclusive resort offering its guests 42 rooms as well as a restaurant, bar, and meeting rooms, among other facilities. Location
The hotel is situated within the beautiful Ria Formosa park, a natural paradise for flora and fauna, and one of the most exclusive areas in the Algarve. Its location is in the tranquil Clube do Ancão in the Quinta do Lago region and it is the highest point in the area with outstanding views of the Atlantic Ocean, the lake, sweeping desert beaches and pine trees. The hotel is located near Vale do Lobo Beach (1 km), and 2 km away from the bus station. The nearest shopping centre is 2 km away from the hotel. Praia do Ancao Beach is a 15-minute walk and the centre of Almancil is around 6 km away. The hotel is only 20 km from Faro airport which takes about 20 minutes by car.
Rooms
The apartments are decorated in a contemporary style, designed and equipped for an easy living lifestyle. The apartments are divided in 24 one-bedroom apartments and 18 two-bedroom apartments, each of which comprises a lounge area, one or two bedrooms, and a kitchen with a fridge, cooker, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. There are either one or two bathrooms with a bathtub and hairdryer, and a terrace/balcony equipped with a table and chairs. Satellite TV, individually regulated air conditioning and heating, a telephone, safe, ironing set and a radio also feature in all apartments as standard.
Sport
There is an outdoor swimming pool with a children's swimming area and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols as well as a spa centre offering a gym, sauna, Turkish bath, a heated indoor swimming pool and a hot tub free of charge. Massages and spa treatments can also be requested at the front desk (fees apply). Other activities available for a fee include sailing, horse riding and biking. The nearest golf course is a 10-minute drive from the hotel (fees apply) with a total of 6 golf courses and 1 tennis centre (fees apply) 3 km away. The nearby beach is sandy.

The restaurant and bar Rouge serves continental breakfast, and set menu or à la carte lunch and dinner, featuring local and Mediterranean gourmet cuisine with a twist.
