North of the city of Sassari, is the nearest beach of Platmona. Fiume Santo, Porto Ferro and Argentiera also offer wonderful beaches around the province of Sassari either on the north or west coast of Sardinia. Frana Beach is located in Argentiera and is a horseshoe shaped sandy beach. The beaches around Porto Ferro are smaller and harder to locate unless by travelling by boat – perfect to escape the crowds whilst on holiday in Sardinia!
