Barcelona de El Prat Airport is just 10 km south of the centre of Barcelona City and about 25 minutes drive away by taxi. After Madrid Barajas International Airport, Barcelona Airport is Spain’s second largest airport and the hub for many major airlines flying around the world.
There are three terminals –A-B-C- at Barcelona Airport and the RENFE commuter train runs from Barcelona Estacio de Franca terminus on the R10 line to Barcelona’s main stations with links onto the Barcelona Metro. Mainly charter airlines use terminal A, scheduled airlines terminal B and Iberia terminal 3, although this is not the definitive rule. There is also a public bus service (TMB) and a private bus line (Aerobus) linking the airport to downtown Barcelona.
