The Parador is located in the Heritage Site in the city, surrounded by the defensive mediaeval wall that starts and ends at the Enrique II castle, measuring around 2 km. The entry gates to the city, the Cathedral and other monuments make for a privileged setting. Cuidad Rodrigo is 89 km. from Salamanca on the N-620 and 28km from Portugal on the E-80.
