If you want to spend some time off your sun lounger but don’t know what to do or you need to find out a bit more about your holiday destination then before you go check out lowcostholidays.com. We have some great tips on what you can get up to on a Costa Blanca holiday in Albir.

Albir beaches:

  • Albir beach is a third of a mile long and has the European Blue Flag status for cleanliness and safety, making it perfect for long family days spent by the sea
  • The promenade by the pebbly beach, Paseo de las Estrellasis, is lined with bars and restaurants so you can grab something to eat or drink and chill out under the sun umbrellas. Well worth a try on your Albir holidays!
  • For those who like to get an all over tan, you’ll find a nudist beach by the lighthouse in Albir
  • If you want a change of scenery on your holidays in Albir, head to nearby Benidorm where the beach offers all sorts of water sports and fun activities for both kids and grown-ups

Albir activities:

  • The Lighthouse offers fantastic views of Albir and the surrounding area and the gentle hour long walk to it is well worth it. Walking is also a great way to get a tan and to work off some Albir holiday calories!
  • Head to Aqualandia if the kids are getting restless. This waterpark has endless fun for all the family including water chutes, giant slides, wave pools and lots of places to grab something to eat or drink
  • Families will also love Mundomar Theme Park, with its sea life and animals as well as rides, restaurants and animal acrobatic shows
  • Vergel Safari Park is only a short drive away and provides a fantastic family day out on your Albir holidays. You can see lions and tigers roaming in their natural habitat, get up close to farm animals and explore the children’s play areas, the Congo train and the parrot, sea lion and dolphin shows; all for quite a reasonable price

Albir nightlife:

  • For a great family night on your holiday to Albir head to the medieval castle, Castillo del Conde de Alfaz, just outside of Albir. Watch medieval knights put on a display on their horses, visit the monks’ dungeons and enjoy a medieval supper and family disco
  • Albir can be a little quiet for some party animals so head to nearby Benidorm by bus or taxi and enjoy everything this famous nightspot has to offer
  • Costa Blanca Casino is near Albir on the road to Benidorm and is well worth a visit if you want a spectacular night out on your Albir holidays. Dress code is smart casual, no shorts or t-shirts allowed and it costs 10 Euros to get in

Other attractions in Albir:

  • The first week of July sees the International Film Festival arrive in neighbouring town Alfas so get down there and start celebrity-spotting.
