• With just under twenty kilometers of beaches, Carboneras is the place to head to for a break spent by the sea. El Ancon is the most centrally located, and is often given the blue flag award.
• The San Andres Castle is a stunning 16th century building, and is where you will also find the heart of the town, the Plaza del Castillo, which is a lively buzz during the town’s fiesta seasons.
• Take a wander along the town’s lovely promenade towards the Mesa Roldan lighthouse where you will be captivated by the view from atop the hill, look out over the beautiful ocean, the jagged coastline of cliffs and dramatic rock formations.
