La Menara Apartments

The La Menara Apartments are situated in the quiet and secluded Vera Playa area of Almeria, an area known for its unique life style, scenic surroundings and fabulous beaches. La Menara is one of the more attractive and pleasant complexes with an open plan style zone of 7 individual blocks and gardens, which make up Vera Playa, giving guests the impression of staying in a small village. The La Menara Apartments occupy one the blocks within the La Menara complex and consist of several modern and spacious one or two bedroom apartments that are fully-equipped for couples, families and groups. There are outdoor pools located close by within the La Menara complex providing the perfect place to take a dip to help you cool down on the hot summer days and there is plenty of space and opportunity for outdoor games and activities such as boules and football. You can find the nearest beach just 150m away that is easily accessible via private footpath that stays within the Vera Playa area.

The Vera Playa offers much to do during your stay with fabulous beaches to relax on and soak up the sun as well as opportunities to try some water sports. There are also plenty of shops and small supermarkets that offer all the essentials you need as well local crafts, souvenirs and clothing. If you are looking for places to eat there are several charming restaurants and bars to try great for either lunch or dinner with traditional snacks such as tapas and Mediterranean dishes to sample. A bit further afield you can find Garuccha, an old fishing village with a lovely promenade that makes for pretty walks and a great selection of fish restaurants; or about 4 miles away there is the larger mountain village of Mojacar full of arts and crafts and where you can find all the traditional hotels and commercial centres full of bars, shops, restaurants and clubs.

Swimming pools

Within the La Menara complex there are 2 heated and filtered outdoor swimming pools with a large pool for adults and a smaller one for children.

Eating and drinking

All of the apartments are well-equipped with self-catering facilities that are ideal for creating your own simple meals whenever you like.

Alternatively you need not go far to find a great selection of local restaurants and bars just outside the complex, where you can sample some of the local specialties as well as more international dishes.

Accommodation

There are several comfortable and spacious apartment style rooms to choose from when staying at the La Menara apartments all of which feature air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet and satellite TV with English and European channels. All the apartments feature a well-equipped kitchen area complete with 4 cooking rings/hobs, toaster, juicer, blender, kettle and coffee machine. All the utensils and cutlery you need along with a washing machine are also provided.

The apartment “2.3” is a one-bedroom apartment ideal for couples with a large double bed as well as a separate bathroom, living area and a kitchen. The apartment is furnished with stylish dark wood furniture and has an attractive lawn and a patio with a view towards the pool.

The “5.1” is also a one-bedroom apartment with much the same features of the 2.3 but with a more convenient location next to the parking area and a larger lawn and garden area that faces west to enjoy the sunshine throughout the afternoon.

The apartment “2.4” is a larger two-bedroom apartment that also has 2 patio areas on either side of the building that come complete with furniture and a barbeque.

The largest of the apartments is the “5.6” with a very spacious living room and kitchen area, two large bedrooms and bathroom. The apartment is ideally located near the pools and parking area and with 2 patios that face south-west and south-east so they benefit from the warmth of the sun most of the day and overlook both of the pools.
