With its fashionable marina dotted with expensive yachts, Puerto Banus is the ideal destination for some celeb spotting. Whether you’re looking for a luxury getaway or an opportunity to catch a glimpse of the rich and famous, you’ll find plenty to keep you captivated on your holidays to Puerto Banus.

The exclusive resort of Puerto Banus is located on the coastline of the Costa del Sol in Spain, famed for its sun-drenched beaches and glittering shores. With a myriad of golden sands to discover, it’s no surprise than the main draw of Puerto Banus holidays are in its beaches. Soul Beach is the ideal spot for rest and relaxation as well as a bustling beachside bar, while Azucar Beach boasts excellent facilities for families.

Beach Life

If you’re a keen shopper, you’re in the right place. The main focal point of a trip to Puerto Banus is its exclusive marina, with a plethora of stylish yachts bobbing in the harbour alongside chic boutiques. Shop until you drop in the many stores that line the marina, before lingering over a coffee at one of the nearby cafes where you can enjoy some cool air-conditioning or the glorious rays of the winter sun.

If you’d much rather don your golf trousers on your holidays in Puerto Banus, you’ll find some excellent golf ranges in the area, with nearby Marbella offering an excellent selection. Spend a few hours honing your swing against the stunning backdrop of the Costa del Sol. For those feeling more adventurous, Fuengirola is a great place to indulge in water sports – everything from diving to windsurfing.

For those that have the kids in tow, Puerto Banus holidays offer some great opportunities for daytrips. Head to the neighbouring resort of Malaga, where you’ll find one of the biggest water parks in the area, Aqualand. Spend the day shooting down waterslides or chilling out in one of the many pools on offer.

Most of the clubs are cocktail-fuelled and give centre stage to some of the world's most-renowned DJs throughout the summer. Tibu is one of the newest clubs on the Puerto Banus coastline and if you're in the mood for a night of luxury and every type of cocktail imaginable, then Tibu is the place for you.

For late-night drinks and Tapas, head to Lamoraga. With eight restaurants scattered around Spain, this is one place where you're sure to enjoy Michelin-star cuisine served in contemporary and sleek surroundings. If you'd prefer to sit outside and enjoy the cool summer evening however, then Morelli's will be more suitable. Sticking to the chic décor, which you'll become familiar with during your holiday in Puerto Banos, this late-night Tapas bar also serves a mix of several cuisines, so you can grab whatever it is you fancy after a few cocktails.

If you don't fancy spending the night dancing and are opting for a relaxed drink over candlelight, then make a trip to Room 101. The interior is extremely plush and exudes expense however; measures are generous and reasonably priced, making it a stylish stop-off when on your way to Tibu, or before heading back to your hotel.

The marina at night comes to life as the yachts and promenade come alive. If it's not your thing to get involved, then Puerto Banus Marina also boasts several small bars that will suit you perfectly. Try Portside, which can get a little atmospheric indoors, but has plenty of wicker chairs outside for you to be able to sit back and yacht watch.
