Overview

The Rocomar Beach Apartments are a 2* complex located in the popular tourist resort of Playa de Jandia not far from the picturesque old and new town of Morro Jable with its landmark lighthouse on the beach. The property received a renovation not long ago in 2004 to help ensure that the accommodations are kept to a modern and tasteful standard with the 3-story building housing the 10 large apartments. Guests are welcomed into the hotel’s inviting lobby upon arrival where you can find the reception for check-in as well as being able to help you with information on what to see and do in the area. The complex also features a good sized outdoor swimming pool, ideal for those hotter days when you just need to cool down or there is the TV lounge that makes a good place to relax after a long day or just to watch your favourite sporting events. During most days you will also find an animation team running a light activity program for adults and children to help keep you entertained on the quieter days.

The apartments enjoy a fantastic location in-between the Jandia and Cofete beaches where you can try your hand at some of the water sports on offer, and the town of Morro Jable that is just 400m away. The town of Morro Jable was like many towns along Fuerteventura coast; originally a fishing village and the buildings and architecture reflect this. The town is a natural blend of the old town and more recent additions and tourist buildings that provide picturesque walks along the narrow streets and harbour or visit the great selection of shops and restaurants in the newer areas. You can find a great connection to public transport just outside the front of the hotel as well giving you even more options for places to visit during your sunny beach holiday in the Playa de Jandia.

Alternatively you need not go far to sample many different cuisines of the area, in Morro Jable you can find many cafés and restaurants that make for great places to stop for lunch or dinner.
