Over a kilometre of dark sand and pebbles make up the Tarajalejo Beach, great for diving and snorkelling. Gran Tarajal beach is similar and both are quiet bases on which to sunbathe, as well as both being awarded the EU’s Blue Flag. Always ensure you take a sun umbrella and bottles of water on the coast as the heat and strength of the sun can be deceiving.
