Ibiza holidays uncovered - insider tips

Whether you’re on holiday in Ibiza to party through the night or chill out next to the crystal clear sea on a relaxed holiday, lowcostholidays.com’s insider tips wil help keep you in the know.

When is the best time to go?

If you want to catch the clubbing season then the best time to visit is between June and September. After this most of the clubs shut and the whole island becomes much quieter.

Temperatures are hottest in the summer, but winter is still popular as the weather is still mild and rarely drops below zero.

Spectacular nights out

There are some incredible night clubs in Ibiza and it’s one of the main reasons people flock to the island – make sure you book in advance if you want to avoid the queues. Prices vary depending on the club and who is playing but can start at 10 Euros and go up to 60 Euros.

Space, Ibiza’s number one club is also the world’s number one. Don’t miss the ‘We Love Sundays’ event, doors open at 8am on Sunday morning and close at 6am the next day....hardcore!

Hidden Gems

We know about a stunning secluded beach but we’re not telling you because then everyone would turn up. Ask around with the locals for the ‘secret beach’ and they might help you out.

How’s the shopping?

You’ll find some bargains in Ibiza; wine and perfume are both cheaper than in the UK. LLadro Procelain is also much cheaper and very collectable. Haggling isn’t common in Ibiza but you might be able to get a few Euros off in Es Cana’s ‘hippy’ markets.

Don’t forget that siesta’s are common in mid afternoon, nothing worse than nipping out for some toilet paper to discover they’re shut.

Where can I get a burger?

An average meal in Ibiza shouldn’t cost more than 5 -10 Euros if you’re on a budget, 10 – 15 Euros for a midrange meal and the sky’s the limit for a high end slap up meal with Madonna or P Diddy. From maccas to tapas – there is a restaurant that caters for every taste, even kebab shops for that late night stop.

Get in with the locals...
