Staying the San Antonio area of Ibiza offers plenty of entertainment and sights that are bound to keep you busy your whole holiday. One of the most notable and famous attractions in the area is “The Egg”, which is a large egg shaped stone monument, with a hollowed centre featuring a model of his ship; built in the 1990s to commemorate the local claim of San Antonio having been birthplace of Christopher Columbas.
The Passeig de ses Fonts is also another popular landmark, a harbour side promenade that was built in the 1990s with the aim to improve the appearance of the town, featuring impressive sights of palm trees, rubber plants and massive fountains. You can find a wonderful selection of cafes and restaurants across the square and it is probably the best location in the area to watch the massive firework display celebrating the fiesta of Saint Bartholomew on the 24 August.
The area is also widely known as having some of the best clubs and nightlife, particularly in Britain, with some of the best DJs and nightclubs in the world including 2 of Ibiza’s largest clubs, Eden and Es Paradis.
