The Sandos Papagayo Beach Resort boasts a prime position on the Colorades beach between the fishing village of Playa Blanca and the Papagayo beaches in Lanzarote. The centre of the resort, where you will find plenty of shops and a fairly chilled nightlife, is 2 miles from the Sandos Papagayo Beach Resort. The 4 star all-inclusive Lanzarote hotel is 23-miles from Arrecife airport, so if you’re traveling with children you won’t have to worry about long transfers as it only takes around 35 minutes to get to Playa Blanca. Sandos Papagayo Beach Resort has 488 comfortable, pleasantly decorated guest rooms, some of which are suites, and the majority of rooms have a sea view. Facilities onsite include 5 freshwater swimming pools, a tennis court, three indoor Jacuzzis, two Finnish saunas, a Turkish bath, a gym and an Internet room. There are loads of areas with sun beds, parasols and a poolside towel service, a massage service and a beauty centre with a hairdresser. You can rent a bicycle from the hotel or take advantage of the free shuttle bus service that operates 4 times a day to the Playa Dorada Beach.

Swimming pools

There are five freshwater swimming pools, three for adults, and two for children. One adult and one child pool is heated in winter. Surrounding the pool area, the terraces offer room to sit and relax with loungers, parasols and free pool towels.

Eating and drinking

There is an International buffet restaurant, a pizzeria, a snack grill, Oriental restaurant, and a French a la carte restaurant with a supplement. There are also five bars.
