Holidays to Camp de Mar 2013

The beach is one of the best attractions in Camp de Mar and families can relax on the beach or swim in the clear waters.

If you want something more lively, then head to Magaluf, which is around 15 minutes away by car, and visit the pirates show, which is a fun day trip.

Camp de Mar beach has Blue Flag status, and it also features a restaurant accessible by walk way.

The Camp de Mar area is generally quiet and secluded, so you will have no problems finding your own spot on the beach.

The Hotel Villa Real is based in the centre of Camp de Mar and is situated only 100 metres away from the beach.

The hotel is relatively small with only 33 apartments, however each one has a balcony or terrace, and there is also a swimming pool on site.

Walk round the town and explore the beauty of the region on a Camp de Mar holiday.

Many celebrities own houses in this area – so you could try doing a bit of star spotting! For the golf addict there are also a few courses nearby.

There are many small local restaurants and cafes in Camp de Mar which specialise in serving seafood.

If this isn't your thing, head further up the coast to Santa Ponsa or Paguera, where they have a wider selection of international restaurants.

The Lido Palace is a stylish and modern hotel laid out over six floors. There is a swimming pool on site, as well as an a la carte restaurant, plus plenty of sports on offer.

Palma is the cultural capital of Majorca and it makes for a great day trip if you want a bit of culture. There is a huge fortress which is in the town as well as Bellver Castle, Europe's first circle castle.

Whilst in the city you can embark on an open-top bus tour, or simply do a spot of shopping.

The Soller to Palma train runs through the rural Majorca landscape, and there is also a tram running from Soller to Port de Soller.

The trams are all original and date from 1913. The train is a great journey – it runs through the mountains and goes through high peaks on the island.
