Palma Nova Holidays

Palma Nova holidays uncovered - insider tips

Whatever you want out of your holiday to Palma Nova, lowcostholidays.com’s insider tips will help you discover your perfect holiday experience.

Spectacular nights out

Palma Nova is lively but not as lively as its noisy neighbour, Magaluf. So if it’s a mental night out you want, hop in a taxi to the next town. If you want to dance and listen to music, there is only one place to go in Palma Nova and that is “Banana Joes” where you can join in with the karaoke and listen to commercial dance and party music.

Hidden Gems

Es Carregador, Playa de Palma Nova and Son Maties beaches are perfect if you’re looking for a relaxing day in the sun. Okay, so they’re not “hidden” gems, but with their blue flag status we think they are definitely worth mentioning, especially for those of you who are holidaying with kids – these beaches are perfect; clean with shallow waters and good facilities.

How’s the shopping?

Well if you can’t find what you want in Palma Nova you’re in trouble; from convenience stores, souvenir shops, chemists and supermarkets to clothing stores you’ll find everything in this resort. And if you can’t? You could always pop to Magaluf instead or hop on a bus to Palma.

Where can I get a burger?

You can pick up anything and everything from burgers and a full English breakfast to Tex Mex and locally caught fish on a Palma Nova holiday. Take a walk along the seafront, where you’ll find a number of restaurants serving all the usual tourist dishes; take your pick. Try some of the local wine if you get the chance, it’s only around £7.50 a bottle, perfect!

Get in with the locals...

Shall I learn the local lingo?

  • It’s not necessary as the locals have a good grasp of the language. A few phrases always help though.
