Overview
The Club Cala Marsal Hotel is situated in Porto Colom on the Balearic island of Majorca. The fine white sandy Cala Marsal beach is just 200 metres away and the centre of Porto Colom, a charming Mediterranean fishing village, with its attractive seafront promenade, shops, bars, restaurants and nightlife is nearby.
The four star Club Cala Marsal Hotel is a well equipped property and has many of the facilities more often associated with a four star hotel. The 347 guestrooms are located in a seven storey building and all have views of the coast, beach or mountains. Each room has a bath or shower, satellite television, air conditioning, a safe and a balcony or terrace. Rooms are decorated in a typical Mediterranean style with wood furniture and bright, summery fabrics.
A weekly programme of entertainment with gymnastics, aerobics, rifle and pistol shooting, archery, table tennis, bowls, water polo, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, guided tours of Porto Colom and Spanish classes are all available for guests who wish to take part. Alternatively, there are plenty of facilities you can enjoy on your own including two swimming pools, one in front of the Club Cala Marsal Hotel which has an area for children and is the busier of the two whilst the second pool is quieter – perfect for a relaxing swim. A pool bar is available between 10am and 6pm and offers a range of refreshments and snacks including pizza and ice cream. There is a gym with weights and aerobic equipment if you fancy a workout and a sauna that can accommodate six people.
Children are also well catered for at the Club Cala Marsal with a hotel-run mini club open between 10am and 1pm and then again from 3pm to 5pm with plenty of craft activities and games. There is also an outdoor play area with swings, slides and see-saws.
For your wining and dining requirements the Club Cala Marsal Hotel has a Bar Hall which opens throughout the day with juices, coffee and pastries for breakfast, aperitifs, soft drinks, Spanish beers and savoury snacks for lunch, coffee, cake and sandwiches during the afternoon and a cocktail or late night coffee when the sun falls. A buffet style restaurant serves a wide variety of dishes as well as a selection of Spanish wines to accompany your meal. Finally there is a Salon Bar which opens in the evening and is where much of the hotels nighttime entertainment takes place. Here you can settle back with a cocktail or a glass of sangria and enjoy professional shows, games and a disco.

This hotel will appeal to couples, families and groups of friends as it has a good and varied range of facilities and activity programmes, during the day and night. It is close to the beach and shops, bars and restaurants of the resort centre, and has two pleasant swimming pool areas.
