The Pirates Village Resort (formerly known as Gran Santa Ponsa Apartments) is located in the picturesque and lively resort of Santa Ponsa, one of Majorca’s most popular resorts. The apartment complex has been refurbished for 2013 with an exciting Pirates theme, promising families an entertainment driven holiday in the heart of Majorca. The apartment complex enjoys a central location, with the beautiful beaches of the south coast just 350 metres away and local amenities within walking distance. The resort of Santa Ponsa is just a 25 minute transfer from local airport Palma.

Close to the area of Santa Ponsa are a number of great attractions. Situated in the south of the Island are the amazing Cuevas Del Drach, an underground network of naturally formed waterways and caves. To the west of the Island is capital Palma, a cosmopolitan city full of architecture, fantastic markets and fascinating history. Towards the east of the Island is the vibrant town of Alcudia, home to fantastic beaches and two great waterparks.

Swimming pools
The poolside area is at the centre of all the hotel’s entertainment, with themed pool for children and larger pool for adults. The pool area is surrounded by gardens, with sunbeds and parasols widely available.
Eating and drinking
In addition to the self-catering facilities, the hotel offers an on-site restaurant and poolside bar.
The popular All Inclusive option is a must at this complex where guests will be able to enjoy a wide variety of international dishes for all ages and tastes. These include breakfast from 8.30am to 10.30am, lunch from 13.30pm to 3pm and dinner from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. All inclusive meals are served in the international buffet-style restaurant. Snacks are served from the hotel snack bar between 10.30am-10pm and include: chips, onion rings, nuggets, hamburgers, cheese burgers, hot dogs, toasties, salads, popcorn and ice creams. Drinks and cold snacks (ice-creams and slush puppies) are also served at the snack bar and include juices, soft drinks, water, beer (national brand), wine (red, white and rose), homemade red and white sangria, long drinks (national brands of rum, whisky, gin and vodka), shots, local spirits, coffee and tea. These are served between 10am-11pm.
Accommodation
The 143 self-catering apartments at Pirates Village Resort follow a rustic mallorcan style whilst providing the comfort and amenities of a modern complex.
Every apartment has a separate double bedroom with twin beds (and cot if required), sofa bed, fully equipped kitchenette with electric rings, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and fridge, air conditioning, safety deposit box rental and telephone.
For families with children who prefer a ground floor apartment, protection barriers can be fixed at the entrance to the terrace allowing children to play safely within the terrace area.
