Cala Santandria Beaches

The sheltered rocky cove at Cala Santandria offers soft white sands that gently shelve in to the calm waters, making it a safe environment for kids to paddle in on family holidays. There are a number of water sport activities on offer with diving being a popular choice. For a larger selection of water sport activities, head to nearby Cala’n Bosch, where you can try your hand at water skiing, canoeing and wind surfing. Alternatively, why not try the sandy beach at the neighbouring resort of Sa Caleta for a day trip?

Explore Cala Santandria

Hiking or horse riding are both great ways to see the countryside here. Head inland and discover some of the inland paths where you can see windmills, traditional buildings and historic sites as you pass. If you’re into golf then there's a golf course nearby in the resort of Son Bou. Further afield, hop on a local bus to Ciutadella for a bit of retail therapy, walk around the cobbled streets and admire the architecture on your holiday. You'll also be within easy reach of the Aqua Centre Water Park or the Aqua Rock Water Park, perfect destinations for a great day out with the kids on a family holiday.

You should also take the opportunity to visit the island's capital of Mahon, where you can pick up that perfect souvenir or marvel at the views from the 17th century watchtower. You could book a boat trip around the island or simply relax at the resort whilst sampling some of the local cuisine.
