Directions
Total distance time 25-30 minutes, about 21km. Leave the airport, at the
first roundabout (with the sculpture) go straight ahead, continu ahead
at the following smaller roundabout and at the following major
roundabout, take the second turn off heading towards Ciudadela. The
petrol station marks the half way mark. Ignore the first two indications
for the town of Alaior and on the third marked exit point leave the main
road and follow the signs for Son Bou. At the roundabout at the bottom
of the slip road take the third turning, signed Son Bou, Torre Soli. A
further 6km will lead you to the tunnel of Son Bou. Drive down to the
first roundabout and go straight ahead. At the first junction (by the
side of the Rte. Compostela), turn left and find a parking area. The
Menorca Vacations Reception is located in one of units on the left.
Location Information
Son Bou is situated fairly centrally on the south coast of the island
some 30 minutes from the airport and ferry ports. The resort has
possibly the finest beach on the island, bragging a stunningly clean and
white sand beach which stretches beyond the nieghbouring resort of Santo
Tomas. Between the beach and the apartments we are proud to mention that
there is a protected reed bed / nature reserve with a wide variety of
bird life. Son Bou Resort also offers a colourful variety of eating
places and evening entertainment bars, or equally one can watch romantic
sunsets from the beach bar. Apart from the magnificent beach there is
also a bowling alley with an indoor childrens play area, a maze, a
tennis court etc.... and for active adults there is a diving school,
tennis court, opportunities to explore on mountain bikes, on road cycles
or take country walks.
Rooms Information
Each air conditioned apartment opens onto a fresh and comfortable
looking lounge -dining cum kitchen area; the re vamped kitchennette is
equipped with an electrical ceramic hob and oven, a fridge with freezer
department, a microwave , toaster and kettle. The white kitchen units
store sufficient crockery, cutlery and utensils for all guests. The
lounge -dining area is decorated to please ones eyes and provide
comfort, there is also a plasma TV with DVD. The sleeping area lies to
the rear of the property, where there ia a double bedroom with two
single beds and one smaller bedroom with two slightly smaller beds. Both
bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and jolly furnishings. The two bedrooms
share a new bathroom which has a bath and a hang over shower, it also
has a 3.5Kg washing machine and a deliciously fresh and clean looking
sink and vanity area. All the properties have a built in safety deposit
box FREE of charge. The property has a front south facing terrace or
covered terrace, which is fully equipped with summer chairs, table and
sun umberella; to the rear of the property there is a smaller covered
patio area.
